This record is better than the first for me. The evolution is unreal. And Amy can still sing amazing. She is great!

I remember when Evanescence took that long break and I wondered if they would ever come back. I am glad they are back. I love the heavy songs, but I would also buy albums of just Amy and the piano, she has an incredible voice. Great album with a lot of variety. My favorites are tell me when you’ve had enough, who will you follow, about us, forever without you and wide open heart.

Like a fine wine…they just get better and better as the years roll by ❤️

Not a single track is bad on Sanctuary. The Open Door has always been my favorite album but I can see it's slowly being taken over by Sanctuary. Saw them live a few weeks ago and the show was incredible!

Was a fan in the 90’s, 64 year old here, and I’ve been waiting for this album! It’s so awesome. I think my new favorite is How Do I Heal! Welcome back Amy Lee! Can hardly wait to see you in concert in July!

PROVING that after all these years they stayed true to their sound and their love for what they do. Zero skips, and Amy still is a powerhouse

I’m unimpressed

This is their best work to date, unbelievable to say this beats Fallen. Somehow it does, it’s perfection!

This is great there’s some songs that felt A bit left out like for example, rapture sanctuary, self-destruct, they were OK but overall great album I love Amy Lee her voice is amazing and phenomenal 🥰❤️ the only songs that I like were Beautiful Lie, Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough,How Do I Heal, Forever Without You , Calm Down

Been waiting a long time for another album like this from Amy Lee. She’s so back! This reminds me of Fallen. Love it!! The whole album is good don’t need to skip any songs they’re all awesome.

Some tracks are very solid but some tracks like Beautiful Lie and Rapture are an absolute disjointed mess. Those tracks in particular are just uncomfortable to listen to sound quality wise; just a cacophony of noise. Overall, I’d say I’m disappointed in this album.

Long time fan here. I love the sound of the album overall… mixed 1000x better than “The Bitter Truth”. I just can’t help but listen to this album and get annoyed over how extremely political nearly every song is (it’s also very obvious). Almost every track you’ll hear Amy talking saying something about the *truth* or the *lies*. “About Us” is literally a song dedicated to Trump supporters that she wrote after he won the election. I’m not a political person, but it seems to be a bit of an obsession… maybe Amy Lee should go touch some grass, as the kids say. Overall I will always love Evanescence, and the only major skip on the album for me is “Wide Open Heart”.

Being a fan for 20+ years and Self-Titled being my favorite album, this album is so much fun and experimental, and I love it. The whole album seems like it’s telling a story from all the frustrations of the world today. What better way to vent than through the power of music? And Amy does what she does best with the last song on the album: wheels all that frustration back in and reminds us at the end of the day that love and what’s in your heart is all that matters 🤘🏾😍

It’s incredible. I think Rapture and About us are the ones I really needed to hear right now. I’m literally listening to them all on repeat.
